When do we collect your data
We collect your data when you give it to us: Usually via:
- Booking or ordering one of our services or products
- Register to our newsletter
- Ask for support from website contact form or online chat.
We only ask to fill in necessary details like: your name, email address and telephone number.
All card transactions are processed securely by Stripe or Checkout.
During and after the transaction we don’t store customers bank account details or credit card numbers. Our customers don’t need to worry that any of their financial information could be exposed online or in public.
What we collect
We may collect the following information during course registration or when you use a contact form:
- your first and last name,
- contact information including telephone number and email address,
- demographic information such as address, postcode, preferences and interests,
- other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers,
- course testimonials and customers feedback,
- photographs of course attendees and photographs taken by course attendees.
Please note that we do not collect or store customers bank account details or credit card numbers. When you enter a credit card on our website, the data is transmitted directly to a third party that we work with (e.g. Stripe Inc., Paypal, etc).
What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
- internal record keeping,
- we may use the information to improve our courses, web pages, products and services,
- we may periodically send promotional emails about new courses, products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided,
- from time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or mail. We may use this information to customise the website according to your interests.
When do we share your information with other parties?
- Provide or perform our services: We use services like Stripe or PayPal to offer various payment options.
- Improving our services, our site or our advertising: We use third-party software to determine how much you want a new product page.

Requesting deletion of your data:
Using our contact page, you can request deletion of your data, if the following conditions are met:
- You are not registered to a future class or an event
- Your payment balance with us is zero.
Please note that a period of 30 days may be required to completely delete the data attached to your account. Without a specific request from you, Swiss Photo Club will automatically delete all of your data six months after termination of your account. You will not be able to access your account and its payment history once it is deleted.
